Dede Griesbauer 

About Dede
Dede is a former NCAA Champion swimmer from Stanford University and a Gold Medalist in the Pan American and Pan Pacific Games as part of the US National Swim Team. After getting her MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, Dede Griesbauer worked on Wall Street for 8 years before returning to a career in sport as a professional triathlete. Dede is a 3-time Ironman Champion, and is a 3-time top-10 finisher at the Ironman World Championship. She holds the course record at the 12 hour time trial World Championships and is the Ultraman World Record Holder. In 2022, at the age of 52, Dede won the Ultraman World Championship setting a new course record by nearly 45 minutes. She joins Waterfall Racing while simultaneously embarking on her 18th year as a Professional Triathlete. She is the oldest actively racing professional on the planet; male or female. Dede Griesbauer is a triathlon coach with JD Endurance and is also part of the live commentary team for Ironman, providing color commentary and race analysis for Ironman races across the globe. And when she’s not busy doing all of those things…..she spends time with her husband, Dave and Labrador retrievers, Piper and Charley in and around their home in Boulder, CO
