About
Born into a Military Family [Air Force] and raised as a competitive swimmer, specifically a distance swimmer. Upon graduating High School, she left home to attend the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, New London, CT in 2012 where she swam all four years as a college D3 swimmer. Upon commissioning in 2016, she began her career as a Naval Engineer and continued to pursue athletics. Between moving across state lines, deploying to the middle of the ocean and just life's many obstacles, she learned to navigate adaptive training and athletics. Haley qualified for IRONMAN World Championships 2023 at IM Texas 2023, while also posting one of the fastest AG swim time in a swim skin, despite being a wet suit legal race.
Haley pursued her coaching career upon transferring to her last land unit with the Coast Guard. It is her belief that goals are obtainable with support, guidance, vulnerability & dedication. She has/had some amazing Coaches in her life that have impacted her in and outside of competing. Her goal is to help you reach your goals no matter what obstacles pop up, such as vacation, work conference, bad weather, sick etc. thru trust and communication.
